Project history: Former French netlayer Le Gladiateur. 27.10.1942 ship was scuttled at Toulon, salvaged by Germans 20.3.1943 and commissioned by Navy in January, 1944 as ASW corvette and mineship.

Naval service: SG18 was sunk at Toulon by American aircraft 4.2.1944.
