Project history: Fishery trawlers, purchased by Navy during building and commissioned as auxiliary patrols.

Naval service: Hermann Siebert was sunk on a mine NW off Vlieland 1.3.1918. Doggerbank was mined 19.1.1918 W off Amrum. Amrumbank was sunk by mine 28.3.1918 off Cape Tachkuna (Estonia).
