Project history: In 1939 French Navy ordered 18 corvettes of British "Flower" class, 6 of them were built on French shipyard in St. Nazaire were captured by German troops in June, 1940. Completion of 4 ships was continued for Kriegsmarine as patrol ships with strengthened AA armament.

Modernizations: None.

Naval service: ĐÀ1 was damaged by Allied aircraft during completion. ĐÀ2 and ĐÀ1 were sunk by British aircraft at Le Havre 15.6.1944 and 24.8.1944 respectively. ĐÀ3 was damaged by British aircraft at Le Havre and stricken 17.8.1944. Incomplete ĐÀ4 was scuttled at Nantes in August, 1944.
