Project history: Originally ordered for the Netherlands as the Z1-4, they were taken over by the German Navy at the builders (Vulcan, Stettin) on 10 August 1914.

Naval service: V107 was stricken by Russian mine 8.5.1915 off Libava 8.5.1915.
