Project history: Former Italian destroyer of Sella class, captured by German troops in September 1943. Real max speed was about 28kts. In 1944 she had serious problems with machinery: only port turbine gear unit was operable, max speed was no more than 15kts.
Modernizations: late 1943: - 1 x 2 - 533 TT; + 1 x 1 - 40/56 FlaK 28, 2 x 1 - 37/54 M1939
early 1944: only one shaft was operable, maximal speed was 15 kts; + 1 x 4 - 20/65 C/38
Naval service: TA15 served in Aegean Sea and was sunk 8.3.1944 off Heraklion (Crete) by rockets from British aircraft, later salvaged but sunk again by British aircraft 12.10.1944 while fitting out.
