Project history: Genuine torpedo-boat destroyers of the 1916 design type, they represented the new heavily gun-armed type; but they exhibited poor seakeeping capabilities in the rough conditions of the North Sea.
Modernizations: None.
Naval service: They did not become operational, S113 running her final trials at the end of the war.
