Project history: Development of Hans Rolshoven, equipped with 18t gantry.
Modernizations: 1943 - 1944, all: - 1 x 1 - 37/80; + 1 x 1 - 105/42 SK C/32.
Naval service: Karl Meyer was sunk 27.10.1944 by British aircraft of Implacable air group in Namsus area. Boelcke was sunk 17.4.1945 by Soviet bombers off Hel Peninsula. Max Stinsky and Immelmann were transferred on reparations to France as Paul Goffeney and Commandant Robert Giraud respectively.
