Project history: Border Guard (since 2005 Border Police). Ordered in 2000. Helicopter deck is capable of accepting an NH-90 helicopter. Aluminum alloy superstructure. All three are dual-assigned to the Coast Guard (Küstenwache) and are used for EEZ and pollution control, and maritime safety and security duties. The hulls were built in Russia. They carry a 30kt RIB.

Modernizations: None.

Naval service: No significant events.
