Project history: H15-20 of the Type 369 were former USN patrol boats, which served under the designation USN 54-59 with the LSU's Weser River Patrol. They resembled the four patrol boats P1-4 of the Frontier Guard, which were commissioned 1 Juny 1956 for the navy as KW11-14 and finally became the Type 909 air-sea rescue boats FL 5-FL 8.

Modernizations: None.

Naval service: KW 15, 16, 17 and 20 were decommissioned in 1964 and transferred to the new inspection unit who commissioned them as BG1-4. After their return in 1971 they were disarmed like their sisters and commissioned as security vessels with civilian crews for the Territorial Command. Since the 1960s KW 19 has served as a dispatch boat in the North Sea area with a civilian crew. She was decommissioned 22 December 1981.
