Project history: Twin-hull submersibles designed by M Laubeuf. Ordered 8 October 1904 under the 1904 programme.
Modernizations: None.
Naval service: Calypso was sunk in collision with Circé off Toulon 7.7.1914. Circé was sunk in the Adriatic by German submarine U47 20.9.1918.
