Project history: Generally very similar to the '27-metre' boats and although classed as 'torpilleurs-vedettes' they could not be embarked. With a bow and stern rudder they proved highly manoeuvrable. They were ordered 17.6.1878.
Modernizations: 1885, both: - 2 - 350 TC; + 2 - 350 TT
Naval service: No significant events.
