Project history: No.1 had two funnels side by side and a fixed bow and stern sub TT.

Modernizations: 1883: - 2 - 350 TT; + 2 x 1 - 47/25 Hotchkiss, 1 spar torpedo

Naval service: After trials it was intended to discard her on 30.5.83, but she was renamed and reclassified as a 3rd class aviso de flotille and used for the defence of Cherbourg.
