Complement

Project history: The second high-speed design of 1891. After mediocre initial trials (23.85kts and excessive fuel consumption) Normand-designed modifications to the boilers produced better results (25.44kts maximum, and a radius of 800nm at 11kts). She was a good seaboat, solidly-built and with comfortable accommodation, but of poor manoeuvrability.

Modernizations: None.

Naval service: No significant events.
