Project history: This class had a single large funnel and two masts. The stem was straight and there was a forecastle continued by the upperworks to 9m from the stern, with the hull sides curved as in the previous class. The 65mm was forward, the 47mm aft and sponsoned on either beam, and the TT were forward and aft of the funnel.

Modernizations: 1890s, both: - 1 - 450 TT (bow)

Naval service: No significant events.
