Project history: US 'Swiftships' type. Six ordered in 1976, four delivered in April 1977 before the cessation of US arms to Ethiopia. Aluminium construction.

 

Modernizations: early 1980s, P203, P204: - 2 x 2 - 30/75; + 2 x 2 -23/87 ZSU-23-2, 2 x 1 - 12.7/79

 

Naval service: Crew of P202 defected to Somalia in 1984 and escaped there onboard the boat.
