Project history: Former British corvettes of Peacock class. Jointly funded by RN (25%) and the Hong Kong Government (75%) to replace five elderly CMSs acting as gunboats. The design was prepared by Hall Russell.
Modernizations: 1993, both: - type 1006 radar, GSA.7 Sea Archer e/o system; + Kelvin-Hughes 500A, Kelvin-Hughes Mk IV radars, Radamec 1500 e/o system
2008, both: - 2 x 1 - 12.7/90; + 2 x 1 - 20/90 Mk 20 Rh202
Naval service: No significant events.
