Project history: Large patrol craft, wooden hull. Former USN SAR craft.
Modernizations: 1977, Capitan Alsina: petrol engines were replaced by 2 General Motors diesels (1000hp, 17kts).
Naval service: LR102 was lost in 1956. Survivors in 1957 were transferred to coast guard.
