Project history: Further development of Havmanden class, designed by Whitehead (Austro-Hungary). They differed by bigger dimensions and increased to three TTs number. Single-hulled. Arrangement of third, stern, TT in deck superstructure aft from CT became interesting feature.
Building of six boats of this class was planned, but five were completed only.
Modernizations: 1917, all: + 1 x 1 - 57/40 M.1885 AA
Naval service: Three submarines in 1940 were deduced to reserve and 29.8.1943 scuttled by crews at Copenhagen.
