Project history: Project FPS (means Flexible Patrol Ship). Based on the Absalon class and built with the same hull. Fitted with flag and staff facilities and can be used as command ships. Hull blocks were built by Baltija Shipyard in Lithuanian Klajpeda and Loksa Yard in Estonian Loksa and later assembled in Denmark.

Modernizations: None.

Naval service: No significant events.
