Project history: Seaworthy gunboats, officially rated as cruisers. They differed a little from each other: Hejmdal had 1342t displacement and has one funnel.

Ship protection: Guns were protected by shields. There was armoured main deck.

Modernizations: 1910s, both: - 2 x 1 - 37/20, 4 x 5 - 37/17; + 2 x 1 - 57/40 M.1885, 2 x 1 - 57/40 M.1885 AA

Naval service: No significant events.
