Project history: A coast defence battleship with an amidships belt and the 26cm guns in fore and aft single barbettes.

Ship protection: The belt was 295mm between barbettes (175mm abreast barbettes), the deck was 53mm, it has turtleback forms at ship ends.

Modernizations: 1906: - 4 x 1 - 120/27, 2 - 356 TT; + 8 x 1 - 57/40 M.1885

Naval service: No significant events.
