Project history: Small wooden ships ordered under the 1910 programme. They were built by national shipbuilders: Habana and Pinar del Río as naval gunboats, and Matanzas and Las Villas as revenue cutters. To beginning of WWII ships can make no more than 7kts.

Modernizations: None.

Naval service: Because of bad technical condition Habana and Pinar del Río were used only for coastal service.
