Project history: Former USN 173ft PC, PC(C) class chasers and PGM class motor gunboats.
Modernizations: early 1950s: all survived were rearmed with 2 x 1 - 76/55 34K, 3 x 1 - 37/73 70K, 2 DCT, 2 DCR
Naval service: 8 boats in 1949 escaped to Taiwan. Survived boats served till early 1970s, but one boat served till end 1980s as TS.
