Project history: Israeli Sa'ar 4 FACs. Harpoon SSMs were removed prior the transfer.

Modernizations: 2000, Casma, 2003, Chipana: diesels were replaced by 4 MTU 16V396 diesels (13000hp, 31kts)

late 2000s, Angamos: diesels were replaced by 4 MTU 16V596 TB91 diesels (15000hp, 32kts)

2004-mid 2005s, all: + 1 x 2 Simbad SAM (~4 Mistral), SP-100 CCS

2010s, some: - SP-100 CCS; + SP 21K CCS

2010s, Angamos: - 6 x 1 Gabriel II SSM; + 2 x 2 MM40 Exocet SSM (4 MM40)

Naval service: Chipana was thrown ashore by tsunami at Talcahuano 27.2.2010 but later was salvaged and repaired.
