Project history: Former British Upholder class submarines, purchased in 1998 and recommissioned in 2000-2004 after refit (including replacing of batteries) and modernization.

Modernizations: 2017, Windsor; 2018, Corner Brook: - type 2040, type 2007, type 2046, type 2019 sonars, TDHS CCS; + BQQ-10(v)7 sonar suite, BSY-2 CCS

Naval service: Corner Brook was badly damaged by running ashore 4.6.2011 and returned into the service only in 2016.
