Project history: Identical with British Oberon class, but armed with Mk 37C ASW torpedoes, not anti-ship weapons (twenty-two carried).

Modernizations: 1982, Ojibwa; 1984, Onondaga; 1986, Okanagan: - type 1002 radar, type 187, type 2019 sonars; + Sub-Harpoon SSM (8 UGM-84A), Mk 48 Mod 4 torpedoes (24 missiles and torpedoes totally), type 1006 radar, type 187C, type 2051/Triton sonars, TFCS Mk 1 mod 0 CCS

Naval service: No significant events.
