Complement

 

Project history: Purpose-built standard Admiralty design (Mersey class). Intended for patrol, ASW and minesweeping roles. In 1919 two trawlers were purchased by Belgium for pilot service.

Modernizations: None.

Naval service: Both were interned in Spain in June, 1940, returned after war and served as pilot vessels since 1946.
