Ordered in December 2012 as replacement for salvage ship A963 Stern and coastal tug A996 Albatros and A950 Valcke. Steel hull and aluminium superstructure. Each ship carries 2 fast 37kts inspection RIBs. Abbreviature RDS means Ready Duty Ship.
