Project history: To have been constructed by Danubius, Fiume, and very similar to the design of the Germania UD type, of which the Austro-Hungarian Navy had ordered U7-11 which were sold back to the Imperial German Navy. The particulars are very unclear as only U107 and U108 were laid down in March: and May 1918 respectively, but only completed to 35% and 30% at the end of the war; for U109 and U110 27% and 23% respectively.
