Project history: Twenty 33m patrol boats were ordered in November 1965 for coastal patrol work; five were to be employed in New Guinea, the others in Australian home waters.

Modernizations: None.

Naval service: Arrow sank at her moorings in Darwin on 25 December 1974 during Hurricane 'Tracy', but Attack, although damaged, proved capable of repair.
