Project history: Former USN Sotoyomo class tugs, later used by Armada Argentina as patrols. Sanaviron was also used as survey vessel.

Naval service: Comodoro Somellera was rammed and sunk by patrol ship Suboficial Castillo at Ushuaia in August 1998, later salved but not repaired.
