Project history: In 1910 Argentina ordered 12 torpedo-boat destroyers - four from Cammell Laird and four each from French and German yards. These English boats (laid down in 1910) had five funnels whereas the French and German ones had three. Magazine capacity was 250 rounds of 102mm shells. These four destroyers, named after Argentine towns, were sold to Greece in October 1912 for the First Balkan War.
